Former President Clinton talked about the integrated global community and the importance of people realizing the interdependence of life today. He talked about the current acrimony in politics and how that is defeating the purposes for which the United States was founded. He used his cooperation with former Senator Dole as an example of how politics could work. Other topics included the release of his autobiography, My Life, published by Alfred A. Knopf, the 1996 presidential campaign, and current events. After his speech he answered questions submitted by students in the audience. He was introduced by former Senator Dole. close
