The 2004 Green Party Presidential Convention took place at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, beginning Wednesday, June 23 and continuing through Monday, June 28, 2004. The convention nominated David Cobb and running mate Pat LaMarche as their candidates for U.S. President and Vice-President. Several members of the Green Party and other associated parties and organizations spoke at the convention and voiced their support for the Cobb-LaMarche ticket.

The Green Party of the United States was formed in 2001, a reincarnation of the Association of State Green Parties which started in 1996. At the time of the 2004 convention, 202 Green Party officials held public office, and the Green party was on the ballot in 23 states. close
