Telephone lines were open for viewers to share their comments and views on President Ronald Reagan. Corporal James Wright spoke by telephone from Walter Reed Medical Center about his visit to pay his respects to President Reagan the day before. A video clip of the visit, which received wide attention from the press, was shown. Live scenes from the Capitol Rotunda were also shown, but the public visitation period was over. A video clip was also shown of Michael Korda telling an anecdote about President Reagan on June 7, 1999. Clips were shown of the presidential gravesite in Simi Valley, California and of his birthplace in Tampico, Illinois. A video clip from April 29, 2004 was shown of ABC News anchor Sam Donaldson telling a story to a class about covering President Reagan. close
