Letters to a Young Conservative
Mr. D’Souza discussed his book Letters to a Young Conservative, published by Basic Books. The author wrote the book in the hopes that it would be used as a survival guide for younger conservatives living in what he refers to as liberal environments. Mr. D’Souza believes that these young conservatives must examine the basic foundations of liberalism in order to confirm their own notions. The conservatism that the author refers to is based on natural rights and a belief in universal moral truths. After prepared remarks, Mr. D’Souza answered questions from the audience. close
