Landon Jones talked about his book William Clark and the Shaping of the West, published by Hill and Wang. The biography follows Clark’s career after his expedition with Meriwether Lewis. Following his journey with the Corps of Discovery, William Clark became the highest-ranking Federal official in the West. Clark became involved with the removal of American Indians and the reconstruction of Native America. After the discussion, the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
