The Georgetown Law Center hosted a faculty panel discussion entitled, “Exploring the Supreme Court’s Terrorism and Detainee Cases: A Preliminary Assessment of the Rulings.” Panelists examined the reasoning and implications of two recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings, Rasul v. Bush and Hamdi v. Rumsfeld, granting detainees in the war on terror the right to legal council. The panel concluded by answering questions from the audience. close
