Anne-Christine D’Adesky spoke about her book Moving Mountains: The Race to Treat Global AIDS, published by Verso. The book provides descriptions of the measures being taken to combat AIDS. The author reports on countries such as South Africa, Russia, and Brazil. Judith Auerbach, vice president for Public Policy at the American Foundation for AIDS Research; Priya Nanda, director of research at the Center for Health and Gender Equity; and Paul Zeitz, executive director at the Global AIDS Alliance provided commentary. They also responded to questions from members of the audience. There was a brief viewing of the film, Pills, Profits and Protest, produced and directed by Anne-Christine D’Adesky. close
