The Deceivers: Allied Military Deception
The book chronicles the deceptions practiced by the Allied forces during World War II including misinformation about the D-Day invasion, double agents throughout Europe and Asia, and the formation of organizations devoted to spreading misinformation. In order to compile this information the author used recently declassified documents and archival information collected from the National Military Command Center at the Pentagon. After prepared remarks, Mr. Holt responded to questions from the audience. This event was part of the Military Affairs Symposium, which was held at the City University of New York.
