Cheryl Barnes talked to children from Dranesville Elementary about her book President Adams' Alligator and Other White House Pets, published by VSP Books. She told stories about various presidents and the pets they kept in the White House and also talked about inauguration day as depicted in her book Woodrow for President: A Tail of Voting, Campaigns, and Elections. Mrs. Barnes ended her talk with an explanation of the publication process. After her presentation she answered questions from the students. close
