George Zilbergeld, political science professor at Montclair State University, spoke about political correctness. He said political correctness contained deep roots in academic culture and caused a negative view of the military on college campuses. He asserted that academics, largely liberals, were “hostile to the values of western civilization.” Mr. Mowbray discussed his research into Department of State policies that threatened U.S. security. He called for a basis of “an American premise” for State Department policy. Mr. Davis joined in the discussion of military and security issues, and the panelists responded to audience questions from the audience. close
