Deputy Defence Undersecretary for Policy Ryan Henry spoke with reporters about the prisoner abuse scandal in Iraq. He discussed the various investigations underway, as well as the involvement of the International Committee of the Red Cross. He talked about the Defense Department’s announcement of the creation of an Office of Detainee Affairs and other policies aimed at preventing further abuse. Following his remarks, he responded to reporters' questions. close
