Panelists Frank Fahernkopk and Paul Kirk, who both Co-Chair the U.S. Commission on Presidential Debates, discussed a number of topics related to the electoral process. They discussed the primary system and how it has changed dramatically over the last 30 years. Panelists also spoke about the presidential debates and how candidates qualify for participation in those debates. They also analyzed the role of the media in the electoral process and how the media has impacted the current presidential campaign. Following their moderated discussion, panelists responded to questions from the audience. close
