Dr. Post talked about his book Leaders and Their Followers in a Dangerous World: The Psychology of Political Behavior, published by Cornell University Press. He analyzed the actions and behavior of different powerful leaders throughout history. He discussed several former American and European presidents and leaders of terrorist organizations. Dr. Post argued that it is important to understand the psychology of terrorist and their motivation. He suggested that the best way to fight terrorism would be to contribute more to foreign aid and moderate education programs. He claimed that terrorism will never end but the best way to minimize it would be to create dissension in terrorist groups, create ways to escape out of these groups, and reduce support for the groups.
