Ms. Malkin talked about her book In Defense of Internment: The Case for ‘Racial Profiling’ in World War II and the War on Terror, published by Regnery Publishing. Ms. Malkin argued that both the World War II internment camps and the Bush administration’s approach to fighting terrorism are justified because of national security concerns. During the discussion, the author answered questions from members of the audience while protestors participate in demonstrations outside the building.

The even was sponsored by the Berkeley College Republicans and California Patriot, a conservative campus magazine. close
