Ms. Roberts spoke about her book, Founding Mothers: The Women Who Raised the Nation, published by William Morrow Books. She discussed women of the Revolutionary generation, their roles in the Revolutionary War, the writing of the Constitution, and the politics of our early republic. She spoke about how she became interested in the topic as well as her experiences while researching and writing the book. Following her remarks, Ms. Roberts responded to audience questions. close
