Author Michael Moore addressed a group of UCLA students and faculty three weeks prior to the 2004 presidential election. Mr. Moore read from his book Will They Ever Trust Us Again?: Letters from the War Zone and The Official Fahrenheit 9/11 Reader. He encouraged audience members to vote for Senator John Kerry (D-Massachusetts) in the November election. Mr. Moore’s staff had the cameras removed 15 minutes after the event began.
