Mr. Milewski moderated a discussion about the upcoming presidential election. The panel concentrated on voter registration and other procedural issues. Mr. Greene speculated about the potential for a close election that may involve a number of legal challenges. Mr. Davies noted, “all the ingredients are there” for a “train wreck” election. Both panelists discussed the election of 2000 and how it has led to increased scrutiny of election procedures. Following the discussion, panelists responded to questions from the audience of high school students from northern Virginia. close
