U.S. Senator-elect Ken Salazar spoke to supporters to announce his victory in the campaign in Colorado. Mr. Salazar defeated Republican Candidate Pete Coors in a campaign to fill the seat vacated by the retirement of Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell (D-CO). He thanked his opponent, supporters, staff, family, and friends for their hard work during the campaign. Election results were shown at the bottom of the screen during Mr. Salazar’s remarks. close
