2004 Elections and Urban America Panelists discussed the impact of the election on urban America. Ms. Turner moderated the discussion. The panelists discussed Senator Kerry and President Bush’s policies on a number of issues that impact urban communities. Mr. Greenblatt noted that neither candidate “made a strong pitch” for urban votes. Mr. Lightman spoke about the potential impact of the election on Washington, D.C. Mr. Anderson spoke about the candiates' campaign styles in different urban areas. Following the panel discussion, the speakers responded to questions from members of the audience. close
