Mr. Woods talked about his book The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History, published by Regnery. In the book he argued that liberal teachers and professors at the high school and university level have misinformed America’s youth about what really occurred during famous events in history. He wrote that often these teachers presented opinion or myth as fact, giving the wrong impression to students of history. An example he cited how the 1980s is often referred to as the decade of greed but during that same period, charitable giving grew faster than it had at any time during the previous 25 years. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
