Senator Bob Graham spoke about his book Intelligence Matters: The CIA, the FBI, Saudi Arabia, and the Failure of America’s War on Terror, published by Random House. He described the process of researching and writing the book and discussed his experiences as a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee. He addressed a number of topics related to the war on terrorism, including: the recommendations of the September 11th Commission, Middle Eastern politics and the death of Yasser Arafat, the role of Saudi Arabia, and the need for effective intelligence reform.
