Senator George Allen (R-VA) talked about Internet tax legislation, his role in this year’s elections for the U.S. Senate, as well as the Republican agenda for the 109th Congress. During that week in November of 2004, Congress passed a bill introduced by the Senator to extend a ban on taxes for Internet access until 2007. He also had served as the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee for the past two years. He responded to telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail from viewers. close
