Participating from Boston, Professor Julian Zelizer talked about his book and about current as well as past U.S. House rules and internal reform efforts. The full title of his book is On Capitol Hill: The Struggle to Reform Congress and its Consequences, 1948-2000, published by Cambridge University Press. He has also recently edited, The American Congress: The Building of Democracy, published by Houghton Mifflin. He also responded to telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail from viewers. close
