Rob Kampia, executive director of the Marijuana Policy Project, and David Evans, executive director of the Drug-Free Schools Coalition, appeared on the day’s Washington Journal. The guests discussed the medical use of marijuana which later in the day, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral argument in Ashcroft v. Raich. The case involved Angel Raich who was convicted for using prescribed marijuana for pain relief. The guests filed briefs on opposite sides of the case.
