Following opening remarks at a day-long conference on the terrorist threat to the U.S., participants talked about the organizational structure of al-Qaida and terrorist cells. Among the topics they addressed were international perceptions of U.S. power, capabilities and support for al-Qaida cells, and recent organizational responses to U.S. and international counterterrorism measures. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
