Members of the Canadian House of Commons introduced and debated bills during the House session of June 18, 1991. Bills discussed included a bill to create a committee to investigate the Canadian government’s initiative to create a “renewed” Canada by involving a greater number of Canadians in constitutional affairs. The bill would increase the telecasts of sessions of the Canadian parliament and would attempt to involve greater numbers of aboriginal peoples in the government with additional attention given to their affairs. Simultaneous translation of French speakers' words was provided by interpreters. close
