Faye Satterly will talk about her book Where Have All the Nurses Gone? The Impact of the Nursing Shortage on American Healthcare. She mentioned some of the problems, including more vocational choices for women, sicker patients, retirements, and lack of respect and compensation. After her presentation the author answered audience members' questions.

Ms. Satterly has been a nurse for 20 years and is the Cancer Services Director at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Her speech took place at Jane’s Attic. close
