Former Ambassador Palmer talked about his book Breaking the Real Axis of Evil: How to Oust the World’s Last Dictators by 2025, published by Rowman and Littlefield Publishers. He discussed his plan to rid the world of dictators, including legislation introduced in both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. He described the proposal as creating a coalition of democratic states, funding independent media, and providing political and financial support for democratic movements within authoritarian states. After his presentation he answered audience members' questions.
