Following a private meeting, Presidents Bush and Fox and Prime Minister Martin spoke briefly about the trade and cooperation among the three countries. Topics included border security, international trade competition, bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), and partnership. The three leaders answered reporters' questions and were expected to go to President Bush’s ranch for further meetings.

The joint news conference was held in the Bill Daniels Student Center of Baylor University. close
