“The Geneva Conventions and the Rules of War in the Post 9-11 and Iraq World” conference panel titled, “Legal Questions Surrounding Indefinite Holding and Tribunals of Suspected Terrorists and Insurgents,” examined the laws, rules of evidence, and jurisdictions for trials of enemy combatants. Panelists talked about their personal experiences with such cases, prisoner rights, and legal precedents being set in current plans for trials.
