Mr. Frantzich talks about his books Citizen Democracy: Political Activists in a Cynical Age, published by Rowmand and Littlefield; The C-SPAN Revolution, published by University of Oklahoma Press; and Cyberage Politics 101: Mobility, Technology and Democracy, published by Peter Lang Publishing. He talked about levels of civic participation in the U.S., the prevalence of cynicism among the electorate, and the role of the media and families in fostering public debate on public policy. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
