Date, author of Quiet Passion: A Biography of Senator Bob Graham, published by Tarcher; Mirta Ojito, author of Finding Manana: A Memoir of a Cuban Exodus, published by Penguin Press; and Karen Spears Zacharias, author of Hero Mama: A Daughter Remembers the Father She Lost in Vietnam--and the Mother Who Held Her Family Together, published by William Morrow.
