Ron Kovic celebrated the paperback release of his book Born on the Fourth of July, with Robert Scheer and Johnny Temple. Mr. Kovic discussed how he was affected by the Vietnam War including his paralysis from his chest down as a result of combat. They discussed the book, its impact on American politics and culture, and its relevance while military forces were operating in Iraq and Afghanistan. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
