Nancy Conrad and Howard Klausner signed their new book Rocketman: Astronaut Pete Conrad’s Incredible Ride to the Moon and Beyond, published by NAL. It is a biography of Nancy’s late husband, astronaut Pete Conrad, the third man to set foot on the moon on November 19, 1969. Based on interviews conducted with the astronaut before his death due to a motorcycle accident, the authors discussed his love of flying and his trip to the moon as seen through his eyes. After their presentations the authors answered audience members' questions. close
