Former U.S. Senator Zell Miller talked about his book A Deficit of Decency, published by Stroud and Hall Publishers. Zell Miller spoke about his concerns over the decline of Christian values, media irresponsibility, and a lack of role models in sports and music. He explained that the inability of the Democratic Party to effectively address these problems led him to deliver the keynote speech at the 2004 Republican National Convention. He was interviewed by John Anderson, former Congressman and 1980 Independent Party presidential candidate.

Zell Miller served as a United States Senator for the State of Georgia from 2000-2004. He previously served as Governor of Georgia from 1991-1999.

John Anderson is currently Chair of FairVote an organization that seeks elections that promote voter turnout, fair representation, and inclusive policy.
