Jack Welch was interviewed about his book Winning, published by HarperBusiness. Beginning his career in business in 1960 by taking a job as a plastics manager with General Electric, Jack Welch eventually rose through the ranks, becoming chairman and CEO in 1981. During his time at the helm he made it the world’s most valuable corporation. In his book, which he co-wrote with his wife Suzy Welch, he explained his philosophies and ideas about business, corporate ethics, and success in any professional career. He shared these ideas with students at Sacred Heart University’s School of Business and answered questions from the audience. close
