Ambassador Tobias, who was introduced by Mr. Casey, spoke about the efforts of the U.S. to combat the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa including the second annual Emergency Plan field. The Emergency Plan field is committed to prevention, counseling, testing, and care of the virus. Ambassador Tobias also answered questions from reporters in the audience regarding HIV/AIDS issues such as prevention measures and countries benefiting from the United States efforts. close
