Andrew Peyton Thomas talked about his book The People v. Harvard Law: How America’s Oldest Law School Turned Its Back on Free Speech, published by Encounter Books. An attorney and Harvard Law School alumni, he discussed in his book what he considers as lamentable changes in the philosophy of Harvard Law regarding freedom of speech. He complained that the university, which was founded on the idea of free speech, has implemented restrictions. He cited monitoring classroom discussions for the purpose of racial sensitivity as an example. Following his presentation, Mr. Thomas responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
