The Corporation for Public Broadcasting Board of Directors held a meeting to review the fiscal year 2006 budget and the report from the president of the Corporation of Public Broadcasting. Among the issues addressed at the meeting were federal funding of corporation activities, programming decision, educational and public interest value of the corporation’s activities, and the mission of the organization. There were also some comments on media interest in new management on the board of directors and the nonpartisan nature of corporate activities. close
