The United Nation Foundation held a briefing on the six-month review of tsunami relief and reconstruction. Members of the panel focus on United Nations coordination efforts, lessons learned, and the next steps for reconstruction of the region. The panelists discussed the efforts by nearly two-dozen United Nations agencies in response to the December 26, 2004 tsunami crisis. The agencies provided relief, reconstruction, health, shelter, child protection, early warning system assistance and other services. close
