Ms. Dalglish talked about the confidentiality of reporters' sources and the decision in the lawsuit against New York Times reporter Judith Miller and Time magazine reporter Matthew Cooper. The journalists had refused to comply with subpoenas to turn over records to a federal grand jury investigating who leaked the identity of CIA operative Valerie Plame. Time magazine agreed yesterday to turn over documents to a federal grand jury to avoid possible fines and jail time for Mr. Cooper. Ms. Dalglish responded to audience telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail. close
