James Brady talked about his memoir The Scariest Place in the World: A Marine Returns to North Korea, published by Thomas Dunne Books. In his book Mr. Brady recounts his visit to both North and South Korea. The author served as a Marine platoon commander in the Korean War and returned over fifty years later to write an article for Parade magazine. Mr. Brady describes being escorted to Hill 749, his old battlefield, when he revisited South Korea. After his presentation, he responded to questions from members of the audience. close
