Other issues concerning America’s security discussed by the panel included domestic issues affecting security such as drugs, the environment, and migration and refugees. The American Assembly brings together approximately 60 public policy leaders to discuss a current topic in public policy. Through a consensus building process, the forum determines public policy initiatives which are published and widely distributed by the Assembly following the conference.
