Former President Bush spoke at a gala observing the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. He signed the legislation into law in 1990. The George Bush Medal for the Empowerment of People with Disabilities was presented to three persons.

The gala was held at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. close
