At the annual meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists, New York Times staff members talked about a series in the New York Times called “Time for 'CLASS'” which focused on social and economic disparities in American life. They talked about class identification, the distribution of wealth, quality of government and social services, the income gap and economic mobility for the majority of Americans. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
