He talked about his service in the Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II and experiences as a war journalist in the final days of the Pacific campaign. He also was a motion picture camera operator in the battles of Tarawa and Iwo Jima, and showed several images of the battles. He responded to viewer comments and questions. close
