Military Base Closings Final Deliberations, Joint

The 2005 Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission continued final deliberations before submitting its report to the president on September 8, 2005. Commissioners heard from staff members on Defense Department recommendations and made motions for changes to the recommendations

In the afternoon of the second day of the final hearings, motions focused on recommendations for Joint Cross Service Groups.
