A panel of authors who have written books for the Oxford University Press’s History of the United States series talked about the periods of history they cover in the series. They also put currently popular issues like executive power, partisan politics, and economic inequality in historical context. Mr. Avalon moderated the panel which responded to questions from members of the audience.
