Vice President Cheney spoke at the National Restaurant Association’s 2005 Public Affairs Conference. Among the topics he spoke about were Hurricane Katrina relief efforts along the Gulf Coast, the nomination of Judge John Roberts to be Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, and the efforts to combat terrorism. He also praised the restaurant industry for their efforts in the aftermath of the hurricane. close
