Democratic members of Congress spoke to reporters about Hurricane Katrina response and rebuilding efforts. They criticized the initial hurricane relief efforts and the leadership of President Bush. They also discussed such topics as ensuring relief money goes to the victims and not contractors, working with those who did not have flood insurance coverage, and thanking everyone for their support along the Gulf Coast.
